Visitors appreciate the convenient cable car access and the relaxing onsen facilities. Some note it's a smaller resort, best suited for half-day visits for certain activities.
"This the trailhead for the Mt. Adatara. You can come here by public bus or your car. There is huge parking areas. I came here on Sep 28 and it was very crowded. October will be peak season for hiking. Better to come as early as you can. You can use the cable car to get 1350 m. It takes 10 min. One way is 1000 yen and round trip is 1700 yen. We got one way ticket since we wanted to use another trail to descend. We were very happy with our decision. The cable car starts at 8:30 so if you arrive early you should either wait or hike up which will take about an hour. The facilities have pretty much everything you will need before and after the hiking. There is also a public onsen where you finish your hike with a great touch"

"Great little resort if you're riding the Aizu hills. It's small and you'll probably only be there for a half day, but lots of fun to be had, even if no pow..."
