"The museum was created to preserve the art of a local calligrapher and the art was difficult to appreciate without speaking Japanese. There were some interesting paintings of Mt. Fuji on the second floor gallery. No photos were allowed in the two small gallery rooms. The highlight for me was getting to try calligraphy myself. It’s ¥300 to enter so not a big expense."
