"One of the great temples in Japan. The streets lining the approach has great selection of Nagono specialities such as Oyaki, Soba and Chestnut rice. The temple is grand and it is worth climbing the gate for the cool views. Be sure to venture into the main worship hall and into the tunnel of darkness. Make you watch your head and I won't mention anything else about it."

"I love this place. It’s so old a mysterious - especially when music is playing and you know it’s just tranquil - in a sense. Babies will enjoy this experience too, not that I have one or tested this theory, however, it’s all too possible you’d get some laughter out of your child - or someone else’s. No questions asked. It’s highly recommended!"
