Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Tsuruma Park for its stunning natural beauty, especially during cherry blossom season and when its rose gardens are in bloom. Many highlight the park's peaceful atmosphere and its accessibility, noting it as a beloved spot for both relaxation and vibrant seasonal events like Hanami. While crowds can be significant during peak times, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.

"We went at the end of March 2025, which was unfortunately a little too early for the full bloom. Regardless, it was still pretty and I could tell that this would be a good location for cherry blossom viewing.

They cordon off the hanami areas, where many people will be picnicking. However, they leave a trail in the middle so that you can still walk through and enjoy being in the midst of the flowers. There are numerous food trucks selling festival food. Overall, you can have a good time here admiring the cherry blossoms."

"Clearly labelled sections with different flowers blooming at different times of the year. It’s a nice walk around, prob best early morning or in the evening when the sun isn’t so strong."

Jennifer

"A dreamland! Beautiful around all the seasons, day and night, evening or morning and, even in rainy days Tsuruma park never fails to amaze me. As my campus is just beside, the Nagoya University Hospital, almost every day I cross the park, enjoy the quiet ambience and filling myself up with peace! Oh, try to come during sakura season. One of the best sakura in Japan blooms here. 🌸🪻🌷"
