"This park is famous for its statue of Sakamoto Ryoma. It's located on top of a hill, so be prepared to walk quite a bit, as is often the case in Nagasaki. The harbor view is beautiful, and the small garden is uniquely designed with a small rock formation in the background."

"I have seen many statues of Sakamoto Ryoma since I came to Japan, from Kyoto to Kochi and now Nagasaki, and I just say this is probably the most difficult to reach if you’re not driving and decided to take the hike, and it’s also the most beautiful and majestic as it overlooks the harbor which once oversaw most of the trade between Japan and the outside world. It was totally worth it and the hike was particularly exciting.
Hopefully I can visit again during the autumn season."
Kingston Obike
"I never knew we have such a beautiful refreshing venue this close to city! A view tower to view the city, open play grounds and a cozy park where you can hang up rest and relax 🥰 It really felt so good to be there 😊😊"
