The easy, paved trail makes it a pleasant outing for all ages, and the unique maple leaf tempura adds a memorable culinary touch. While generally loved, some find the walk a bit long if they're not accustomed to hiking, and crowds can be significant during peak times.

"Situated a short walk from the Minoh train station, this is a lovely spot to visit. It is a very well maintained walking path, going through the forest all alomg the small stream. There's a shrine along the walk. Small food outlets are situated along the path."

"This is a very scenic spot with clean air. I really love the atmosphere here. I hope visitors will be kind and not take or leave anything behind - Let's keep this place pristine, so that we can enjoy a good time here. There's also an insect museum with a clock that sings every hour - interesting for both kids and adults. There are restrooms and shops along the way. No entrance fees to the waterfall."

"The walk up to Minoh waterfall in Minoh Park is scenic and relatively easy with a slight incline. Time from the station (look for the little stone mascot for the start of the trail!) to the waterfall takes about 45 minutes. We went on a Friday morning (7 March) and there were only a few other people on the trail. We were also really lucky that it started snowing really lightly when we were there and on the way back. Also don't forget to try their speciality of momiji tempura (fried maple leaves) - little sweet and very crunchy.
There was also a bit of construction happening as they were installing guard rails on the path."
