What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Tokyo Bay Yakatabune cruise for its stunning sunset views, illuminated cityscapes, and engaging onboard entertainment. The friendly crew and delicious food, including halal options, are frequently highlighted. However, some guests felt the entertainment could be more inclusive for non-Japanese speakers, and seating arrangements could be improved for better passenger comfort.
"If your looking for an escape from Tokyo hassles go and try this samurai cruise. Very nice cruise, the crew is very friendly and welcoming. You can enjoy a very nice sunset view from the deck and a beautiful show at 6pm inside the ship with dancing and singing ladies in japanese. Also two menus are available (1-vegetarian or 2- beef +seafood, desert and drinks with free refill). Good news for Muslims, the beef is halal (the pictures of the halal certificate below with the halal list of products). 2 departures were available for the evening tour but with the corona virus state of emergency in Tokyo the 4.45 pm one is the only one available now, the cruise leaves around 5pm and comes back around 6.48pm. You should call in advance to book and you can pay on the spot.
Enjoy!"

"Very fun cruise in Tokyo Bay. They serve a lot of food right off the bat, and then give you time to walk on deck and take pictures. The show was for a little over 20 minutes of fun music and dancing.
Most of the talking was in Japanese, but sometimes they translated it to English.
Note that you can order an option to get only one drink instead of unlimited drinks. That saves a little bit of money. To do that, you have to email or call, you can not do it online."

"I wish they would think a little more about the passengers."
