"Don’t stop here if you’re a foreigner lol. We got a little confused about the trains and we couldn’t get past the gate. I went to the counter for help with my issue typed out in Japanese on my translator. The guy at the counter just glanced at my phone, got mad and just said “NAI NAI NAI NAI!”. He didn’t let us through essentially trapping us on the platforms. I get it, I live in a tourist-heavy place too but there’s no need to be RUDE and just straight up not do his job.
He didn’t even attempt to help us, meanwhile other station workers have been patient and use the provided device they have to communicate through translator. A nice older worker on the other side of the station helped us out."
