"We booked in at Raicho Inn at Norikura Kogen to experience three things. An Onsen stay in the mountains, the Kamicochi snow shoe hike tour and a snowy winter experience. It was truly special. It snowed a lot so was stunningly pretty, the onsen experience was wonderful as a result and the hike was magic. We also hiked to a frozen waterfall nearby without snow shoes. Such a fun day and a funny, wonderful experience, at times sinking up to our thighs in the snow. We had so much fun staying here. We loved it. Loved being away from the business of the big cities."
