Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the museum's top-notch printmaking exhibits, friendly staff, and the peaceful atmosphere. The mini library and proximity to Serigaya Park are also highlights. However, some guests have had negative experiences with staff regarding photography policies, citing rudeness and a lack of clear signage.

"Parking was easy and cheap and the exhibit was top notch. Plus the staff was really nice and helpful!"

"I was so excited to go to this museum. I loved the atmosphere and the interactive studying system on the first floor (the last 3 photos is this spot; Japanese only). We didn’t go inside the main exhibition because we didn’t expect it to be not free but even though we enjoyed free exhibition and studying materials.

Anyway my impression was spoiled by the attitude of the staff. I wanted to take a photo of the book to think about buying it later, but Staff came up to me and in rude, simple Japanese (+ to the racism of the Japanese) said that I could not take photos. There were no signs about this anywhere, but that’s not the point. It was rude and disrespectful. I can speak Japanese very well but she even didn’t supposed it and spoke to me in rude Japanese.

The museum could be popular, but it is almost empty, there are no visitors and such behavior will never attract more people there. I don’t want to go there anymore, although at the beginning I sincerely fell in love with this place"

"Very educational ~ actually my favorite section of the museum was the mini library - it had an amazing collection of works - one series reminded me of old school almanacs but high lighting art periods ~"
