In 1889, 幣舞橋 location was originally 愛北橋. Until 1898, it was destroyed.
In 1900, government built a new bridge, then destroyed in 1909 again.
Finally in 1924 to 1928, a brand new 幣舞橋 was built. It was made of reinforced concrete.(RC) And remain the same till now.
The only renovation was in 1976 to widen the bridge for the modern vehicles use.
From the start to now, it went through a 1 century journey.

"We are lucky to see the sunset in time. In winter, the sun sets more onto the left hand side. You can see it sinking into the sea horizon during summer time. You also need some luck as Kushiro is well known for its fog."

"Don't expect too much as this is just a short bridge. You can come for sunset pics but there are many spots here with same sunset view."
