"Extreamly beautifull view. But you have to be prepare that for the half of the ride you will be in tunels. If you sit on the wrong part of the train you won't have the best view. Sit on the right part when you departure and on the left when going back to base station. At the last stop you have about 20 minutes but there ist nothing to do and no good view so you can go to the toilet and sit in the train. There are station along the way but if you get off there is no garantee you will get in on the next train so its a bit risky. All in all its a great expirience and i recomend you going there."

I've been mountain climbing in this region quite a lot, so it was nice seeing the mountains from the railway. It was also a lot less crowded than I expected (no queueing required for on-the-day tickets although it was a weekday). Totally worth the trip from Kanazawa."
