What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find City Circuit Tokyo Bay to be a fun and exciting experience, especially for those seeking a motorsport thrill. The 2-seater EV karts and the ability to track lap times are frequently praised. However, some note that single karts book up very quickly, and the provided gloves could be improved.
"My husband and I, along with our couple friends, had planned this go-kart outing nearly two months ago.
However, as the booking is only available one week in advance, it turned out to be quite competitive.
Unfortunately, the single karts were fully booked very quickly.
Instead, we reserved the 2-seater EV kart (2人乗りEVカート) for two time slots: 2:30–2:40pm and 3:00–3:10pm.
We arrived at around 2:10pm, registered at the reception, paid, and received special face masks.
The setup was fairly open and not very clearly marked, but we managed to figure it out.
A staff member directed us to the rest area to watch a safety and instructional video.
As our session time approached, we went to the starting area and geared up with the face masks, neck protectors, helmets, and gloves.
The gloves were quite worn out and a bit unpleasant in smell, which was a downside.
In our 2-seater EV kart, I was the main driver on the left side, though the passenger on the right could also control the steering wheel.
This was my very first time driving a go-kart. It was fast, reactive, and a lot of fun.
Each session’s drive lasted 7 minutes, and we completed 9 laps.
Thanks to the online registration, we could check our lap times and rankings on their website, and they also handed us a printed record afterward.
For beginners like me, 10 minutes session was more than enough to enjoy the experience.
Just a small note: you may feel a bit dizzy or lightheaded right after driving, so take a moment to rest before moving on.
After our driving sessions, we also tried out the simulators, two for kids and two for adults.
They were easy to use with clear instructions and were a fun way to wrap up the day.
Overall, it was a great experience and we all had a lot of fun."

"There are two trails here: one for adults (if I'm not mistaken, there's a height restriction of 150 cm), and one for children. We went on a weekend, and there was a long line for the children's trail; we were warned it would last about an hour. But there were no guests at all on the adult trail. I was alone. The trail isn't long, but it has a lot of sharp turns. The cars don't have a reverse gear. It's relatively expensive."

"Very fun, gas go cart for 13 mins, 6k yen, 35 laps felt much longer than 13 minutes. Empty except one person on a weekday, perfect."
