What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Gundam Base Tokyo is a paradise for Gunpla enthusiasts, offering an unparalleled selection of model kits, including rare exclusives. Visitors rave about the impressive life-sized Gundam statue and its captivating transformation and light shows. While the store is spacious, some find the selection of specific kits can be limited at times, and popular items sell out quickly.
"Awesome experience to see the completed suits. Selection of models kits is not the greatest since it's really just the super popular ones (exia, r78, wing, unicorn, etc.) The gundam base exclusives are legitimately dope (all black ecopla and haros are awesome). Would recommend going on weekdays as they have same-day reservation-only on weekends via QR code. Also come at night to see the lightshows for Unicorn Gundam in the festival plaza downstairs (no reservation needed)."

"This place bankrupts me. But I leave happy and content! The displays are top notch and they have plenty of stock. It's a little harder to find perfect grade pieces here.... But if you're lucky you'll be able to get your hands on one!"
Pierre T
"Really nice place to visit if you are a Gundam enthusiast but I was really disappointed with the stock.. they had literally nothing on the shelves and I was one of the first people to enter the shop in the morning that day because I went early. They only had the less popular Gundam that most people wont buy."
