"I heard that the Kururi Line's section south of Kururi Station is due to be closed, so I visited its terminus, Kazusa-Kameyama Station.
There are shops and other attractions near Kururi Station, and it's fairly lively, but there are few houses south of Kururi, and the lack of houses around Kazusa-Kameyama Station explains why it has so few passengers.
It's a rare local railway, even among JR lines in the Tokyo metropolitan area, so I'll be supporting the Kisarazu to Kururi section."

"I went there by motorcycle in August 2004. The station was a dead end and there didn't seem to be anything there, but by motorcycle you can head towards Lake Kameyama, which is further ahead. Tourists would flock out of the station just as the train was arriving, stroll around, and then get back on the train."
