Reviews Summary
Shin-Yurigaoka is a well-connected station on the Odakyu Line, serving as a convenient hub with a vibrant commercial area on its south side. Visitors appreciate the shopping arcades and dining options, particularly the popular ramen restaurants. However, some find the station's internal navigation confusing, and occasional seasonal smells have been noted.
"I wonder if they did some interior or air conditioning work in August? The smell in the waiting room at the outbound station is so strong I can't get in. Even the regulars who used to use the station are sitting on benches outside... I wonder if they're just waiting for the smell to go away... Some people continue to use the station despite the smell, but the Shin-Yurigaoka platform is really cold in winter, so I hope the smell goes away before it gets cold.
PS
It's now October and the smell has subsided, but for some reason this post has disappeared."

"This station is located in Asao Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and is one of the main stops on the Odakyu Odawara Line (Main Line). Kawasaki City stretches from east to west, and this station is located on the western edge of the city.
Kawasaki City is home to a large number of people and has a high population density. Shin-Yurigaoka Station (Aso Ward) in particular is one of the stations that matches residential areas, commercial areas, and nature well, and I hear it is very suitable for raising children. In fact, when you visit the commercial area around this station, you will see many families with children.
Commercial facilities around Shin-Yurigaoka Station are mainly concentrated in the south exit area, and there are not many commercial facilities in the north exit area. On the north exit side, there are only a group of shops in the Odakyu Accord Building, a pachinko parlor across the road, and a large parking lot.
On the other hand, the south exit side is home to a facility that brings together local shopping arcades, including Marketplace 27, Shin-Yurigaoka El Mirador, Shin-Yurigaoka OPA, AEON Shin-Yurigaoka, and Odakyu Accord. It is a well-equipped commercial facility.
There is also a large bus terminal on the first floor (1st basement floor) on the south side of the station. Buses to all directions depart from this terminal."

"I think it's easy to access the various stores after exiting the ticket gates at Shin-Yurigaoka Station.
On the other hand, it can be difficult to find the stairs and elevators to get to the ticket gates from ground level."
