"Visited August 15, 2025
Arrived about 15 minutes from Higashi-Otani Hime-no-Mikoto Shrine.
We took a steeply sloping route that ended at a dead end, so it seemed safer to stay on the well-maintained path without taking a side road.
The path was easy to walk on, and we were able to climb without any problems in sneakers."

"It takes about 15 minutes to climb, but there are 5 steep slopes.
We recommend trekking shoes with harder soles than sneakers. The most difficult mountain trail in Yamato Sanzan. You can see Mt. Nijo to the west. At the foot of the mountain is a land full of attractions such as the Mausoleum of Emperor Jimmu, Kashihara Shrine, Zuikaku Memorial Park, the Mausoleum of Emperor Ann'ei, and Kume-dera Temple."

"It had snowed the night before.
There was evidence on the table that someone had gotten there first.
The climb was a gentle clockwise path from Omiya-san.
Going down clockwise as well,
I had the feeling of being lost."
