"This mountain lies on the border between Osaka and Wakayama. I took a bus from Wada Station on Osaka's southern coast to Ushitaki bus stop and started hiking. It was a bit of a climb, but I'd say the difficulty level was relatively easy. The summit is 858m above sea level and is located within Kongo-Ikoma-Kisen Quasi-National Park. There's also a great view from the summit."

"I started hiking alone from Kishiwada Station.
There is a vending machine near the Tohara bus stop where you can purchase drinks.
The climb continues from the trailhead.
From the observation deck, you can see Kansai Airport in haze.
I had lunch at the table and chairs below the observation deck.
On the way back, I walked quite a distance on the paved road towards Ushiyama Onsen Iyoyaka no Sato, then turned onto a mountain path halfway through and counted the Jizo statues as I descended.
The hot spring water was very smooth and felt great."
