"Mid. Very small museum with barely anything describing his life. For English speakers, you get a paper with simple descriptions of the items presented. Underwhelming for a museum that cost 700yen for regular adult. Wouldn’t recommend."

"You can view these extremely valuable cultural assets in a calm atmosphere. (Those with an interest in history will find this a very meaningful experience.)

Unfortunately, all of the exhibit descriptions are in Japanese, so if you can't read Japanese, it might be best to avoid entering.

In addition to the exhibition room, be sure to also take a look at the basket display area in the garden."

"Visited on October 16, 2016.
Our museum houses approximately 7,000 historical documents and art and craft items passed down through the Yoshikawa family, which has a history spanning 840 years, and displays them in rotation three times a year.
2,500 historical documents, including the Yoshikawa family documents, the Azuma Kagami, and the Taiheiki, have been designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan and are valuable resources for medieval history research. Additionally, the 2,500 art and craft items have been carefully preserved by the Yoshikawa family, including the National Treasure sword "Kitsunegasaki" (made by Aoe Tametsugu, Kamakura period) and the National Important Cultural Property "Embroidered Armor Suit (a battle coat gifted by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Momoyama period)," and are highly regarded for both their artistic and craft qualities.
