"Beautiful trail run from the trail head to the top around 30 minutes and down a bit over 20 minutes. Nice incline but not too steep. Some overgrown segments and slippery areas. Lovely nature"

"Amazing hike! Definitely worth it and the views from the top were beautiful - you can see the whole island from one side to the other. Is a bit of a struggle in parts but great scenery and wildlife!"

"— THIS TRAIL IS NO LONGER MAINTAINED —
Don’t drive up to the ‘parking lot’ as the road is more than gravel road, it has ditches in it. Instead park on the asphalt road near start of the gravel road.
When you see the wooden sign with hiking poles near it, it’s the first trail to the left (the one closest to the sign)
The trail is not maintained, this means that the plants are terribly overgrown, and you will have to push your way through a good part of the hike. The stairs/rock path is uneven, and sometimes plain missing.
The view on the top is not great unless you climb the small building seeing as the flora has grown above eye level.
It’s still a good hike, just be prepared for something a little more adventurous."

Hiking Mount Omoto: What to Expect
It's crucial to note that the trail is not consistently maintained, which contributes to its adventurous feel but also requires extra caution. The road leading to the trailhead can also be rough, so parking on the asphalt road before the gravel section is recommended. Despite these challenges, the reward at the summit is significant.
