Said Karlsson

"I went in July 2024.
Admission was ¥310.
There was also a three-museum ticket for ¥1000 and a five-museum ticket for ¥1500.
If you have an artistic sense, you might find something interesting.
I don't have any sense, so I didn't get anything... (crying)"

"I went there for the first time!
Photography wasn't allowed inside the museum, but (๑•ㅂ•) it was ok outside, so I took some photos!

Many of the artworks depicted mothers holding their children or gazing tenderly at them.
It really conveyed the mother's cherishment of her children!

Now that I'm a mother myself, I understand how much I love my children...
But as they grow up, they grow apart...

There are times when I feel lonely, but I'm also happy to see them grow up!

The works all made me think about these things again!

Iwata Ken, Imabari City

It exhibits works by Iwata Ken, known for his warm style, primarily focusing on "mothers and children."
The exhibition space is semi-outdoor, with numerous benches, so you can relax and enjoy the sculptures while taking in the light and breeze of the Seto Inland Sea.
The architecture by Toyo Ito is also a highlight."
