"I’ve stayed at Spatio Kobuchisawa Hotel (スパティオ小淵沢) for a few times since the 90s. My most recent stay was a month ago and it was obvious that the hotel has becoming very dated but it also brought back nostalgic memories. The hotel offers both western and Japanese style rooms. The Japanese style room don’t have bathtubs, so must go to their onsen to shower. One good thing is that for onsen, they do have separate one for hotel guests only.
Their restaurant is located at the top of the hotel with a breathtaking view of of Kobuchisawa. During the morning, they offer Japanese breakfast for their hotel guests and during lunch & dinner time, it serves Chinese food.
The staffs at the hotel speak very little English, but as always they are extremely helpful and friendly."

"I stayed here for two nights on business. This accommodation is attached to a roadside station and is connected to a hot spring facility. Guests can use the on-site hot spring facility until 10pm, and after that, the hotel's indoor bath is available until noon. In the morning, only the hotel's indoor bath is available from 6am. The hot spring facility was spacious and very comfortable, but the hotel's indoor bath seemed a little worn.
The roadside station has souvenirs, but no groceries or consumables like you'd find at a convenience store. Drinks and snacks are available at the front desk. There's a convenience store about a five-minute walk away, so it wasn't too inconvenient.
The hotel has Japanese and Chinese restaurants, and we had dinner there. The Chinese restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced.
I chose a Japanese-style room. It seemed like it would be suitable for a family. It wasn't particularly luxurious or new, but it was well-cleaned and the amenities were kept in good condition.
Overall, while it wasn't perfect, I was very satisfied. If the weather is good, you can see Mt. Yatsugatake and Mt. Fuji from this location, so I would like to come back if I get the chance."
