What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise Hirakata Park for its historical charm and beautiful seasonal displays, particularly the illuminations. While some find the thrill rides less intense than other parks, its family-friendly atmosphere and affordability make it a beloved local spot. Occasional long wait times for popular rides can be a drawback.
"We were there from 10.30am-4pm and still didn’t manage to ride everything haha. Nice local amusement park suitable for all ages. Hardly any queue for rides. You can check beforehand what your children can and cannot take based on age/height restrictions. Rest assured even our 3yo toddler have a variety of rides he could take. Note that some parts of the park are quite hilly. Walking around is going to be quite a workout. Overall, the park is a great alternative for families with young children who are not able to enjoy USJ yet."

"Very fun park, not very touristy or busy, fun rollercoasters (most of them close when it rains though!). Choose this over the Universal theme park if you want to do many attractions instead of waiting in lines all day!"
Jonas Reubens
"If your kid is higher than 110cm, most of the ride can be played.
We go in the weekday. Not many people. Need not line up for most of the rides. Good for young kids who do not want to spend lots of time to wait (adults too 🤣)
Strongly recommend to buy the all you can play ticket. Some games/rides are not worth to pay a few hundred yen to play."
