"Koko-en 好古園 is truly one of the most amazing gardens I have visited. The moment you step inside, the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful landscape immediately stand out. "The first time I came to Himeji, I didn't really bother with the gardens; we didn't have much time, so we just went to the castle. In hindsight, tjat was a mistake, and I would recommend putting aside just 20 minutes to visit! If you buy your ticket with the castle entry ticket, it is only 50 yen, which is totally worth it! It is nice to spend time in the gardens, and you can spend lots of time there, but even as little as a 10 minute look is worth it. If you can, I also recommend eating at the restaurant! It gets busy, but you can imput your phone number so you can walk around the gardens whilst you wait."
