"An Excellent Stay with Stunning Views
I had a wonderful experience at Okura Act City Hotel Hamamatsu. The location is incredibly convenient—right next to Hamamatsu Station, which made traveling around super easy. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a breathtaking view of the city and Mount Fuji on a clear day.
The staff were warm, courteous, and always ready to help, even with limited English. I appreciated the attention to detail and the calm, upscale atmosphere throughout the hotel. Breakfast was delicious, with a good mix of Japanese and Western options.
If you're visiting Hamamatsu, whether for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, convenience, and hospitality. Would definitely stay again!"

"They don't want people using the observation floor, lol.
It's almost impossible to find. Despite many signs and maps around, none of them mention the observation floor (I can also read Japanese). So I went to the info desk, but no one was there! Lastly, I checked their website, and it mentions every feature of the place EXCEPT the observation floor!
It seems like they just want it to be a hidden amenity for hotel guests and don't want tourists overcrowding it and the elevators. The other reviews say they even rose the price from 500 yen to 1,000 for non-hotel guests!
The building itself is nice with a few public outdoor spaces."
