Otome Pass is highly praised for its stunning, unobstructed views of Mount Fuji, especially during sunrise and sunset. It's also a beloved spot for Initial D fans. While the free parking and natural beauty are major draws, the limited amenities and potential for cloudy weather are noted drawbacks.
"This was in September when my bf and I went to Japan for the first time together. We stayed near Mount Fuji for a night but it was cloudy and raining the whole 2 days when we were there and we couldn’t even see Mount Fuji. Before leaving and heading to Yokohama I wanted to pass by an Initial D race track thingy and google mapped to this parking lot first. Just as we got there the sun was setting and the clouds cleared up, we were able to see Mount Fuji clearly for the first time under the sunset 😭😭😭 such an unforgettable experience. my favorite parking lot. ever."
