"It's not too high, being between 200-300 meters, but climbing up can be tough. You should go in good shoes, although almost all the roads has concrete on them, so it's not a difficult hiking if you go in a comfortable pace. There are many shrines and temples here and there so you can find a new goal at every roads. It gives a good view of the city and the nearby mountains as well."

"We walked while listening to explanations about the history and geological strata from the Mt. Shinobu Research Society. It was nice to hike in the mountains after a long time, but it was difficult to walk because I was wearing sneakers. It was my first time climbing, and even though it is a low mountain, the cityscape of Fukushima City is beautiful from the top."
