"450yen per entry, 1400 for the two seated bicycle rental. The zoo was interesting but the flower hill and the flower museum was really beautiful! The seaside view was okay. We only explored for 3 hours due to tight schedule and elderly parents were already tired, so there were more places we did not check out. I think one might be able to spend the whole day to explore this whole park."

"I parked at the Uminonakamichi Seaside Park Barrier-Free Parking Lot (海の中道海浜公園 バリアフリー駐車場). Since I knew the park was huge, I rented a bicycle at the entrance. However, we only traveled from Flower Hill to the jumping area, so the bike wasn’t really necessary. Another thing to note is that bicycles are only allowed on the outer paths and not in the central areas. That said, if you enjoy cycling, it's still a nice option to have.
Our child absolutely loved the giant jumping area, and the blue nemophila flowers were beautiful—great for photos. It’s a pity we didn’t plan for a longer visit; you could easily spend the whole day here.
We saw groups of kindergarten, elementary, and middle school students on field trips. The park is well-maintained, with plenty of trash bins and restrooms. There are even a few drinking fountains where you press a button and drink from the water stream directly."
