"Very good quality small museum. Even though the building is samll, but it presents a lot of interesting exhibits and guiding information about the fireworks here. Sitting next to the Maru river, the building has a very good open view at the 4th floor. The best of this museum should be its interactive learning. Its very enjoyable to all age visitors.
It's ticket-free. It's very worth it to arrange a 1-2 hours visit."

"My husband and I visited while waiting for a train on the Ouu Line from Omagari. Perhaps due to the bear incident, the automatic entrance doors were manual. 😅
The fireworks theater on the fourth floor was great. We got a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes of fireworks through the pyrotechnicians. The fireworks creation workshop, where you can create and launch your own fireworks like a game, was also quite interesting. Shadow puppet artist Seiji Fujishiro's fireworks on the third floor, viewed through a mirror, were also fantastic. The exhibits are so captivating you'll naturally exclaim, "Wow!" (No photography allowed), so I highly recommend it. Personally, I think the museum is well worth the fee."
