What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sembikiya Ginza is celebrated for its exceptionally fresh and sweet seasonal fruits, particularly in its luxurious parfaits and cakes. While the prices are high, many visitors find the quality and taste to be well worth the splurge. Some reviewers noted that the coffee wasn't a standout, and the price of whole fruits might be more for aesthetics, but the overall experience is highly praised for its elegance and delicious offerings.
"Arrived 13.30 on a weekday. Got a seat right away.
Interior in elegant style.
Things may be pricey here, but it was totallt worth it. Super fresh and sweet fruit. I really recommend the musk melon parfait. The mango sponge cake was also good, but the cake felt slightly dry. I do not recommend the coffee.
We also bought fruits from the 1st floor to try in our hotel. Had premium grapes (worth about 13 000 yen) and premium banana (worth about 650 yen for one banana). These both looked and tasted like you imagine how a standard of these fruits should be. Felt like those prices were more for looks rather than flavour. Mango or melon may be more than looks."
