What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ginza Happo is a highly recommended all-you-can-eat buffet in Tokyo, celebrated for its incredibly fresh and abundant seafood, especially king crab and live shellfish. While pricey, the quality of premium items like wagyu and the extensive drink selection justify the cost for many, making it a popular choice for families and seafood enthusiasts alike. Some find the non-seafood cooked items average, and accessibility might be a concern for some.
"We made reservations a week earlier. The mountain of seafood is the main attraction and it’s super fresh! Very wide selection of seafood and sashimi. There’s also a generous selection of alcohol at their own corner. There’s also a salad bar, and a smaller bar with cooked foods and dim sum. Pretty pricey, but it is in Ginza, it’s a buffet, the food is fresh. So bring your empty stomach! Overall, we enjoyed this experience."

"An impressive selection of fresh seafood — the stars for us were the massive crab legs, live abalone, live sea whelk, clams, prawns, and oysters. The wagyu beef sirloin and kalbi were also beautifully fresh and high-quality.
Each table comes with scissors to make cutting through those giant crab legs quick and easy. The restaurant is kid-friendly, with comfortable seating (yes, proper backrests!) and a relaxed atmosphere. Alcohol options like beer, sake, and whisky are also included.
Our kids (10 and 5 years old) were charged half price for 600 yen per child. Adults 12000 yen per person.
We’ll definitely come back if we get the chance. Highly recommended for seafood lovers and families alike!"

"For the price, it was expected that the quality of food to be higher. The variety and quantity were there. Only the sashimi and fresh abalone were worth mentioning.
Taxi driver didn't know the exact location. It's underground with no lift facility for people who have trouble negotiating stairs."
