Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Ginza's art galleries for their beautiful and diverse collections, ranging from serene landscapes to works by world-renowned artists. The staff are frequently highlighted for their friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing the overall experience. While most galleries offer free entry, some may have special exhibitions with fees.

"I went to this gallery last week. They have very beautiful paintings. I love the ones with flowers, nature and landscapes. The staff was really nice and gave us a lot of information. I will be back. Recommended."

"I arrived at Yanagi Gallery just as the sun was beginning to set and the autumn evening was drawing near.
Stepping out of the elevator in the jet-black building, I was greeted by a soft, gentle atmosphere and a warmly comforting play of light that immediately put my heart at ease.
Each painting was tenderly illuminated by spotlights, yet the entire gallery maintained perfect harmony—an inviting, healing space filled with serene, positive energy, almost like a sacred “place of healing” (iyashirochi).
Having visited several other galleries that day, I was particularly struck by the unique character of each one. If you enjoy gallery-hopping, I highly recommend stopping by Yanagi Gallery to experience this special atmosphere for yourself.

By sheer coincidence, the artist who created the table on display, Ichiro Sato, happened to be there. He kindly shared the story behind his work titled Futaba (Young Sprout).
To my astonishment, he casually performs what most people would call “superhuman” feats: he bends iron with his bare hands, without using any welding, to complete his pieces. Is that really possible? He told me that if you search YouTube for “さとういちろう スプーン曲げ” (Sato Ichiro spoon bending), you can watch him actually doing it."
