"At first, I tried to go from near Iioka Fishing Port, but a local person told me that the footing was poor from that direction, so it would be better to go from Choshi Marina. There were still beachgoers there, so there were beach huts and it was lively, but other than that, it was just an open space with only toilets. There were magnificent geological formations stretching all along the coastline."

There is free parking next to the beach.
It wasn't very noticeable from a distance, but up close it was much more impressive than I expected.
Explanations of the geological strata are written here and there, so I was able to figure out which layer was which and what era it belonged to.
I didn't have time, so I was only able to see a small part of it, but the cliffs stretch for 10 kilometers, and the highest point is apparently 60 meters high.
I definitely recommend seeing it from up close if you visit Choshi City."
