What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the JAXA Chofu Aerospace Center for its engaging interactive exhibits, particularly the flight simulators and spacecraft simulation. The free admission and parking are significant draws, making it an accessible and budget-friendly destination. Staff are frequently commended for their friendliness and helpfulness, often providing explanations in English.
"Had an amazing time here. It is quite small with two main rooms but they have some amazing interactive opportunities such as a flight simulator, screens where you can choose and watch different videos as well as craft your own airfoil, a wind tunnel that helps display clearly the effect of an aircraft wing's angle on lift and descent as well as a few more. There wasn't many people when I went. The staff were really nice, my Japanese is not quite to fluent yet and they were very helpful and patient at the gate as well as the amazing staff inside (a kind lady), who informed me on some of the different aircrafts in a mix of both Japanese and English. Overall a great experience!"
