"We parked our RV in the parking lot and spent a night in Chitose Aoba Park, not far from the Chitose Airport and the RV rental company; parking RVs or other vehicles in there over night is allowed, the park is open 24 hours a day and many cars were parked there that night. We chose to park there because our rental RV needed to be returned the next day to a location not far from the park.
The next morning, we woke up to find a beautiful park as green as anywhere on the planet, with the crystal clear water of the Chitose River quietly flowing through it.
