Reviews Summary
GiGO Tokyo Dome City offers a vast array of arcade games and UFO catchers, with many visitors enjoying the sheer volume of options and the chance to win prizes. However, a recurring theme in reviews is the difficulty of winning from the claw machines, with some describing weak claws and a 'scam'-like experience targeting tourists. Despite this, the location within the vibrant Tokyo Dome City complex, including the Big O Ferris wheel, adds significant appeal.
"It was not a great experience. I changed more than 6,000 yen, almost 1,000 NTD (which is a lot), and got absolutely NOTHING. First of all, we tried big ones and small ones, but we got nothing. We really wanted one of the plushies, so we spent A LOT of money on it. After trying so many times, it didn’t give us payout AT ALL. Not only that, when the plush was in a uncatchable position, the staff refused to make it the normal position. Normally, staff would change the position if you had tried it lots of times and still couldn’t catch it. But, the staff in this store doesn’t. The staff were also not very nice, welcoming, and good-attitude. Not only that, when people caught a plush (which is very rare that they do), they would purposely go to the machine, make it harder, and try it a few times to make sure no one catches it again. The border is also very high and the claw was very loose. You can’t use any of the techniques either. This store is a scam because it is tourist populated, which means that the tourists will only come to the store once or twice. This way, they can scam the new tourists everyday. If they scammed people who lived here and will continue to live there, people will stop going to their claw machine store, which makes them lose money; This is why they scam tourists instead."

"Weak claws. Only saw the claw machine at the entrance with Giant bunny plushie won by a dad,by dragging the bottom of plushie towards the hole. Even small minis can't win.
Big outlet but pretty empty."

"100 yen a play on all machines, staff helpful. Prizes may be older than other GiGOs in touristy areas."
