"I visited this place on 20 Feb 2025. The early blooming sakura is in full bloom. I took shinkansen from Tokyo station to Atami then take the bus from Atami station and stop at Ginza bus stop. Walked along the river lined up with cherry blossom trees. They are so pretty. This is my first time seeing cherry blossom so I was in awe. There are a lot of spots for photo options. I went there around 8am so there are not a lot of people it is very calming strolling along the river with cherry blossom trees around me. Would definitely recommend everyone to visit this place to view the early blooming Sakura and avoid the crowd in April."

"I visited the areas on 5 Feb 25. Majority of the trees already blooming. The wind was strong and you could see flower petals flying and dropping. The flowers and flying petals were beautiful but weather was windy and cold . Wear sufficient warm clothing and wear gloves to enjoy the view and walk."

"I visited Atami on February 13, 2025, and the cherry blossoms along the river were in full bloom, offering a stunning display. However, after 11 a.m., the area became quite crowded. To fully appreciate the beauty of the blossoms with fewer people around, I recommend visiting in the morning."
