"The hours are already minimal, and then if you also hold union meetings during public opening hours... I've always loved this library, but once upon a time, you could use its study areas. Now they've removed the room where you could study in groups (while talking). If I wanted to come to study/read, or have lunch, I can't because it closes from 1 to 2 p.m. Once upon a time, with the cafeteria, you could stay there all day and organize your study and lunch... I hope other people can still use it, but for me it's become impossible. Today I had to close my office for half an hour to get back to their hours to return a book, and no wasted half an hour of leave because it closed early for a union meeting..."

Unfortunately, however, the only place where there are laptop/phone sockets (in the study area reserved for adults) is a door, and next to it is the children's area. If you don't have headphones, it's very, very noisy with children screaming and crying, and it can be difficult to study and concentrate.
In addition to the noise from the children, parents and any adults also make a lot of noise playing with the children and screaming.
I recommend that the staff, if possible, tell people to play on the opposite side of the room to try to minimize the noise, if possible.
It's a shame because otherwise it's perfect."
