What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests rave about Palazzo Nani Mocenigo Venice for its stunning historic ambiance, opulent decor, and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Many highlight the beautiful suites with canal views and the charming courtyard breakfast. While some found rooms smaller than expected for a five-star rating, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many planning return visits.
"My husband and I stayed here for our minimoon in Venice directly following our wedding. We were blown away by how amazing our experience here was. The Presidential suite was spacious, expertly decorated, with a large balcony and canal views. It was easily the most beautiful room we've stayed in, in the most beautiful hotel we've stayed in. The staff were warm, congratulatory, and quick to help (including finding us last minute dinner reservations for specific dietary requirements and helping us figure out how to get around Venice). The breakfast buffet catered to my celiac disease and the setting was lovely. The location was also perfect and within walking distance of all major attractions. We are already dreaming of coming back for a wedding anniversary. Thank you for making our stay a once in a lifetime memory!"

"The hotel is housed in a stunning 15th-century building that makes a great first impression from the outside. There’s also a charming courtyard where breakfast is served each morning, which was a nice touch.
The staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made a big difference during our stay.
That said, the rooms were much smaller than expected for a property advertised as five stars. The carpets were stained, some outlets didn’t work, and we had recurring issues with the hot water that required staff to reset the boiler.
Overall, while the setting is beautiful and the staff were amazing, the experience felt closer to a three-star hotel by U.S. standards."
