First time in Venezia! People always told me to be spontaneous and get lost in the city to fully appreciate and have fun this city, but I would still like some recommendations for Italian restaurants and places to visit! I know I can google but I like to ask the locals for these kind of questions!
The only restaurant I enjoyed in Venice was Nevodi out of the 8 we had tried. Delicious through and through. The neighborhood its located in is super cute and worth exploring and getting there early. The rest of the restaurants we tried were alright, but nothing special. Don'tโฆ

Nevodi turned out to be one of the most enjoyable meals of our several-day stay. It was perfect: a neighborhood favorite, low-key, and friendly. We both had excellent antipasti and primo: grilled sea scallops, grilled local vegetables, and ravioli filled with short ribs in a butter and sage sauce. Delicious, and very reasonably priced."

"Really good local pasta place. We ordered the daily special (seafood pasta), pistachio pesto pasta, and meat ravioli as well as the nevodi rocher and tiramisu for dessert. The pastas portion are just right for each person to have on their own. Everything tasted fresh. Highly recommend for those staying east of St Marco Square. Definitely need reservations if showing up after 7pm."
