What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests generally praise the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice for its unique historic architecture, excellent service, and beautiful rooftop bar. The peaceful location on Giudecca Island is a highlight for many seeking an escape from the crowds. However, some find the hotel's drinks and dining options to be pricey, and the shuttle service can experience delays during peak times.
"This is the second time we have stayed at this property. Both visits were very nice, one for work, one for personal. We enjoy the Giudecca area as it is not nearly as crowded. However with that being said you have to rely on the shuttles getting you back and forth to the other islands. The Hilton shuttle available worked great for us. Our room was clean, a little on the smaller side but nice! The property itself is very large. The included breakfast every morning was a perk and convenient. As for the prices though for drinks throughout the property they were pricey. A spritz in the hotel is 16-18 euro, whereas the bars and restaurants just steps outside are 4 euro. The rooftop bar is a nice place to hang out as well. Overall nice property, staff were all great. Would recommend to people visiting Venice for sure."

"We stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to Venice. The hotel was lovely, the staff were great, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. There was nothing to fault. The hotel runs a shuttle ferry at a cost of €15 per person, which you pay at the end of your stay. Although there are regular ferry’s (running every 40 mins and then every hour in the evening), we did sometimes find ourselves having to wait around around for the next ferry, as all the main attractions are on the other islands. Would highly recommend and we would stay here again."

"It’s a great location, but suffers a little bit from the shuttle service, (15€ per person per stay)particularly at busy times of the day. Since they seem to take 10 minute breaks at each end of the shuttle, they could probably get a few extra trips, rather than leaving the 40th passenger waiting for almost an hour near San Marco. It’s even worse in mid morning when everyone has finished breakfast and is heading over to San Marco…I saw 20 people left behind.
The building itself is quite amazing considering its former life as a mill. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out and very quiet. You have to be lucky to get a room with a view.
Breakfasts are great with lots of variety ( though not as much fruit … perhaps December is not a fruit season)and the service staff very helpful ( and remembered our coffee order from the first day). The Executive Lounge offered an interesting selection, which I would rank only as good."
