"This is a beautiful piece of Murano that is great for pictures! I did not go inside.
I would recommend checking out the food in the area nearby the Faro di Murano. One of the locals informed me that they prefer getting pizza from those spots rather than near the Hyatt where I was staying."

"Vaporetto stop. Some busy in the afternoon but it was place for everyone.
The only place where I saw a line to vaporetto being Saturday afternoon.
Faro is the best place to start the visit for Murano great glass artists."

"Review is of Murano rather than the lighthouse.
The island is pretty much dedicated to glass blowing. We had hoped to see a demo but all were at lunch. Couple of places weren't that friendly but couple of others were.
Bought some ice creams and went to Burano (one of the other islands which covers lace rather than glass).
If you have vaporetto tickets they can be used on the boats to/from both Murano and Burano"
