What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the European Cultural Centre Palazzo Bembo for its free admission, stunning Grand Canal views, and tranquil atmosphere, offering a welcome escape from Venice's crowds. While some have encountered issues with temporary closures due to unforeseen circumstances, the overall experience is highly regarded as a hidden gem.
"I'm giving it one star, but I should have given it zero because the visit was impossible. We found a note on the entrance wall with a message in Italian that we had to translate using Google, as we don't speak Italian. It stated that due to a power outage, the exhibition was completely dark for the day. I don't understand why visits were allowed; we could barely see anything.
We spoke to the staff, who kindly offered to give us a tour. I'm amazed they were even called in to work.
This management is completely unacceptable! They should simply close down under such conditions."

"Free museum. Absolutely beautiful and definitely worth a visit. Fantastic views from the balcony and the exhibitions must be rotated often as we saw art and productions from 2022. There is something for everyone here! Also, freeeeeeee. Not busy and it's a hidden gem in plain sight!!"
