Reviews Summary
Visitors highlight the unique artistry of coral and cameo crafts and the insightful explanations from students. However, many were disappointed by unexpected closures and a lack of English speakers, suggesting a need for better visitor information and accessibility.
"This was one disappointing trip. My phone died and in spite of asking at multiple locations nobody could help me to find it. I was sent to multiple locations in the town. Finaly, when l arrived to Art school of Coral-Cameo location lady at the gate said something Italian..l understood its closed. I learnt many places were closed throughout the city due to high temperatures. No English speakers here, not very touristy place.l have noticed old historical photos of coral trading, ships and Japanese business man coming to this area as Japan is still very big market for corals and mainly handcrafted cameos for this region. I walked down to small local beach and found few small broken corals and old tiles. At least souvenir 😊
TORRE DE GRECO only 30min by train from Garibaldi station from Napoli."

"A small wonder. We visited the museum, enjoying the explanations of the students, who, with their expertise, gradually explained to us the origins and unique features of the artifacts on display. We were fortunate enough to meet two teachers, who must be incredibly proud of having achieved such results with their students. Go there."
