What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Mole Antonelliana for its breathtaking panoramic views from the iconic lift and the engaging National Museum of Cinema. The James Cameron exhibition is a standout feature, and the overall experience is considered well worth the admission price. Some visitors wished for more depth in the general cinema history exhibits, but the unique architecture and stunning city vistas make it a highly recommended attraction.
"Our visit to the Mole Antonelliana was an unforgettable experience. We had booked tickets in advance for both the museum and the lift, which I highly recommend.
The lift itself is one of the most interesting constructions I've ever seen. Riding up through the center of the museum in a glass lift was a great experience. The moment you pass through the ceiling and emerge at the top is truly a wow moment! From the rooftop, the view of Turin is fantastic. We couldn't see the mountains as it was a bit hazy, but the panorama of the city was still breathtaking.
After our time at the top, we took the lift back down and explored the museum, which was very well-organized. We were especially excited to see the James Cameron exhibition, with details on iconic movies like Terminator, Alien, and Titanic. The setup with big screens and seating in the middle made it easy to sit back and watch trailers and learn about cinema history.
Even though it was crowded on the day we visited, we had no trouble walking around and seeing everything. You can easily spend 2 to 3 hours here. If you can, go when it's dark to see the building lit up in different colors—it's a great photo opportunity!"

"Absolutely excellent. They had an exhibition on the art of James Cameron on while I visited. Absolutely incredible. They also take right through the history of cinema (with interactive examples in many cases), including the technology that needed to be developed for films to exist. Highly recommend a visit. Make sure you book your time slot. It is very popular. I'd recommend doing the Mole Antonelliana panoramic lift first, and then taking your time in the museum."

"Very nice museum. It has all the basic things you need to know about how a film is made, and it tha middle it had a tribute to James Cameron. Although I liked it, I wish that the stationary exhibition of the museum had more things. For example more information of the important films that shaped the cinema and in what way. More interaction maybe."
