"It's fantastic! I love this place... I'm spending 2 months in this area and as soon as I can I run to the beach! It's really amazing because it's not to built.. there's a great pinewood forest which is lovely for walks and just next to it the beach, which is as I love it.. natural and wild, no restaurants, no bars, it's not easy find a piece of coast without the hand of the businnes... You can really enjoy the nature and the peace. Also in clear days you can see Corse island and Elba island.
If you stop by you're not gonna regret it!"

Gionata Garavini (jhonny_travels)

"To start off, there is free parking and then across the street into a marvelous and fantastic pine wood, with hundreds of crickets making noise..take a big breath and smell the pine scent.
After a brief walk you can hear the waves and then..wow what a view...
The beach has dark however fine sand. Shortly before the water you have small.pebbles. Walk into the water and then slight step down and you are back into the sand. Fast drop, so this is no beach for kids that cannot swim. For everyone else, an awesome beach and worthwhile"

The Natural Beach Experience

The beach at Tombolo di Cecina is a highlight for those who appreciate undeveloped coastlines. Unlike many tourist beaches, this one remains largely natural, characterized by dark, fine sand interspersed with small pebbles closer to the water's edge. This wild beauty is a major draw for visitors seeking peace and a genuine connection with the Mediterranean. Reddit

However, it's important to note that the water depth increases rapidly just a few steps from the shore.
