"Verdura is surely the top resort in all of Sicily. Concierge level service from arrival to departure. Truly remarkable. Many 5 star resorts can be really packed with guests, making it hard to find a lounge at the pool or beach, get a table at a restaurant, massage, etc. Verdura is busiest at breakfast, but the remainder of the day, it feels like you have the resort to yourself, in part because it's such a massively expansive property. 45 holes of outstanding links golf, a variety of restaurants with the finest dining experiences on the island, a massive spa complex with an extensive of unique treatments, therapeutic pools, the best equipped fitness room/gym, etc, etc. The pool is probably one of the largest in the EU. The beach extends hundreds of yards with hundreds of loungers, umbrellas, full bar and food service. The breakfast buffet is one of the best you'll find. Selinunte Archaeological Park is only 45 minutes to the West, which was the highlight of my 2 weeks in Sicily."

Golf was excellent. East Course was challenging and very scenic! A little dry but the weather has been HOT. Loved it.

Service was excellent, Tom the pro repaired my ledge and leant me his own after it had broken earlier in my trip - a touch of class.
Staff were great.
