What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Conero Regional Park is celebrated for its breathtaking natural beauty, particularly its stunning beaches and panoramic viewpoints. Visitors rave about the crystal-clear waters and the charm of villages like Sirolo. However, some reviews point to issues with trail maintenance and safety features in certain areas, suggesting a need for better upkeep.
"A beautiful natural park overlooking the sea, with a myriad of facets, from the trails of Mount Conero and its surroundings to the beaches that can only be reached on foot or by boat. The most beautiful and famous are the Due Sorelle beach, the Mezzavalle beach, and the beaches of Sirolo (Urbani and San Michele), but there's also the Scalaccia beach (just below Ancona) and others (if you search on Google, you'll find my reviews of the main ones). The park is beautiful; my husband and I visited last week, based in Sirolo, a central and convenient location. I'm adding some photos of all the beaches we visited."

"You have in your hands one of the most enchanting places in the whole Adriatic. You are good at organizing excursions and events of various kinds, but as far as maintenance and safety are concerned, you border on the ridiculous. You feel abandoned: balustrades are missing, parapets are non-existent, and points are extremely dangerous, even for those traveling with guides."
camillo bianchi
"The park's natural beauty is especially beautiful in those areas where, over the years, pine forests and wetlands have not been destroyed (as was the case with the Adam and Eve Village), hectares of cultivated land have not been sacrificed (both in Numana and Sirolo), and beaches and seabeds have not been defaced by uncontrolled beach replenishment (Numana's "La Spiaggiola" and the Hotel Eden Gigli beach).
The numerous trails are poorly maintained. Except for the wider paths that follow the driveways and a few others, vegetation (brambles, thistles, and grasses over a meter tall) invades the paths. See for yourself: hike the Anello della Pecorara these days (bring a brush cutter).
It's a shame this neglect exists."
