What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Siena cooking classes are widely praised for their authentic, hands-on experience and delicious results. Visitors rave about the quality of instruction, the warmth of the hosts, and the joy of preparing and savoring traditional Tuscan dishes. While some find the price point a bit high, most agree it's a highly recommended highlight of their trip.
"A bit pricey, but my family and I had a very nice time learning how to make a few traditional Italian dishes we can easily bring home with us. Francesco and Julie were kind and informative and gracious hosts.
It was a motley crew of guests and the conversation was fun as well. There were plenty of vegetarian options for my mostly vegetarian family and even the picky teenagers enjoyed meal.
We made:
Pappa al Pomodoro
Pici pasta with a herbaceous tomato sauce
Cubed chicken in a reduction of Vini Santi
Roasted Potatoes
Panna Cotta (the best of my life)
Use LOTS of olive oil is a lesson I learned... besides the recipes above and a few related tricks.
All in all, a recommended experience for any person or family with interest in the culinary arts."
