What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Lido Ottagono is praised for its stunning scenery, particularly the vibrant orange umbrellas against the blue sea, and its family-friendly atmosphere with a popular diving board. However, some visitors find the prices at the bar and for rentals to be on the higher side, and the beach is predominantly rocky rather than sandy.
"Lido Ottagono is a beautiful rock beach. My wife and I visited the beach on a Tuesday in July and there was a decent amount of other people there, but it was by no means full. The atmosphere was calm and the bar, chairs, and bridge setup to get from one side of the beach to the other were all very lovely. The contrast of the orange umbrellas against the bright blue sea also makes for spectacular pictures. The downsides of this beach are the lack of any sandy beach area and the price gouging at the bar serving the beach. We paid €24 for two Aperol Spritz when they can be found on other beaches or in town for about half the price."

"Great family centric beach. Our teenagers had a brilliant day. I booked a few days before and we had great umbrellas right by the sea. The diving board was a real hit! Well observed by lifeguards and with a lovely bar area for lunch. Very clean toilets and changing facilities."

"Beautiful, relaxing beach club with both rock and sand beach. Service, food and beverages are great! Reasonably priced. Did not require reservation on a summer Sunday whereas other beach clubs were fully booked. Clean bathrooms and showers. Highly recommend."
